Every spring and autumn the fields close to my house fill with hundreds and hundreds of migrating swans that use the fields as a resting place. Seeing them leave for a warmer climate in the autumn is always bittersweet. But as they return again months later in the spring, you know that the long and harsh Nordic winter is over. Summer is coming. The lakes that were covered with ice will once again fill with life. With this collection I wanted to celebrate just that- the hope that the swans and their little ones bring of summer, warmth, flowers and life after a seemingly endless winter.
