Post was inspired by the beautiful old doors at my local post office in Lake Wales. I’ve long admired these doors and knew they’d work their way into a quilt at some point. The graphic shapes make for a fun appliqué.

fabric friendly : In my cover project, I used the gray crosshatch from Architextures and the flame stem print from Botanics.

techniques : basic piecing, needle-turn appliqué (Can use another appliqué technique if desired.)
