000405: Zippers - Every Which Way
Clothing really changed since the late 1800’s when the zipper became an alternative closure to pins, hooks, and buttons. Today we see zippers as more than closures, but also as a means of decorating our clothing. There is a zipper for almost every purpose, be it for sportswear or for a delicate evening gown. In our class, you’ll learn how to insert a zipper for a center application, a lapped application, and an invisible zipper. You will also learn how to “key” a zipper, shorten a zipper, and how to make your invisible zipper “match” the color of your garment.
