Are you interested in quilting but not interested in purchasing a long-arm machine? Do you love to piece quilt tops and are ready to take the next step? In 1,2,3 Quilt, we will teach you the basics of both straight line and free motion quilting that can be accomplished on your home sewing machine.

We will start with practical information for better quilting including: selecting thread colors, sizing your quilt back, creating a stable quilt “sandwich”, and managing the bulk of your project during quilting. We then move on to straight line and free-motion basics and designs.

By the end of the class students should have the confidence they need to apply their skills to their own projects at home.
